This is the last need for speed game without a story mode, so you can just start and drive. No need to upgrade the cars to meticulous levels to make it fun. Can play as a racer or as a cop. Has 60 levels of challenges for cop and for racer. my 6 year old and i both enjoy it.

Great fun…Wonderful visual effects…I bought it for a friend who has Muscular Dystrophy and he is in love with it…A negative feature: Only one person can play…Looking for another auto racing DVD that can be played by two.Much more fun than racing against the computer…

Need For Speed Rivals is a blast to play and the action in the game is a lot of fun. I’m not much of a simulation type of racer so that’s why I really like the Need For Speed franchise.I love they way they ease you in the game by making you go through some tutorials, even pros like me found this useful. The online play has been fine for me here and there but I have no complaints. In past games, you had to follow a certain route and there was no real “open world” and that’s not a problem and makes the game even more exciting as you can backtrack to loose cops.Pro:- Easy to pick up for newbies- Lots of Action- Non-LinearCons:- Controls are a little shakey- Online can be spotty- Customizations to cars need more options.

This is a great arcade racer with an original concept. I love the fact that the entire game is played online. It adds another dimension of chaos and competitiveness rarely found in games. If you are looking for any sort of racing sim, do not buy this game. If you are looking for a game that lets you take down your friends and other players as a cop or racer, and get points for doing so, get this game. This is one of the only racing games where you don’t need events to have a blast with it. I have plenty of fun driving around the city and either joining a head to head or being a cop in pursuit.

Great game, lots of fun. Looks and feels about as real as it can get at this point in time especially for an Arcade type game. Great fun!!. The open world along with the ability to be Cop Or Racer at anytime is great. The online player interaction really makes this game. Caution: This game is really addicting and there are some really good players out there.

The best game out yet for the PS4 IMO. The cars looks AMAZING, and sound AMAZING. And the graphics look just like Battlefield 4’s graphics because they are based on the same graphics engine, Frostbite 3 Engine. This is one of the prettiest games on the PS4, along with Killzone: Shadow Fall and Infamous: Second Son. This game also runs SUPER smooth even though it’s only 30FPS. Trust me, with so many games like Infamous: Second Son that stutter and have horrible texture pop-in, games like NFS: Rivals being this smooth is a HUGE plus. You can spend literally around 20 hours just completing the game as a Cop and a Racer. I think it takes about 8-10 hours for each side. And you’ll spend a lot more time than that just busting other players and racing them since the single and multiplayer exist all at the same time.
