A great two like cordless phone. it was easy to set up. It has excellent range and audio quality. If you get a lot of unsolicited calls in spite of being on the do not call list, this is the phone for you. It can block up to 200 separate numbers!

I bought this so I could have a caller ID that I could actually SEE. It’s a nice bright white light and the numbers and letters aren’t just large – they’re HUGE! Especially on the base. It has an LED panel that measures 3 1/8 x 1 5/8 and I can see the caller ID from across the kitchen! See pic. The only down side I can see so far, is the intercom system doesn’t work in the usual simple manor by just pushing “intercom” if there is a message on the machine. You have to push “menu” and arrow down 3 times, hit “select”, THEN the intercom number you want. I’m not so lazy that I can’t do this, but I only use the intercom for emergencies, and I’m afraid if I’m in a panic, I won’t be able to do all of those functions.

We’ve had this phone for a couple of weeks and simply love it.Special Note: We used the previous model – the KXTG4000B – for about 15 years or so. It was a fantastic phone and we hated to see it die. (If memory serves, we actually paid almost $600 for it new!) It was a 4-line phone but only used 2 lines in our home/office.1. The sound is top notch. I’ve had people who I speak with often say that my voice is so much clearer than before.2. The logical design of the system is just excellent except for #3.3. The lack of a hold button on the handsets is an irritation. Not sure how the design bozos could overlook this, but it really is easy to overcome. See #44. (Related to #3) There is a hold FUNCTION that takes 3 keystrokes to get to but there is an easier way. Someone else can join the call simply by clicking the line. That means to get someone else on is as simple as muting your handset and hollering, “Hey, Bob! Pick up line 2!” Then you can just hang up.5. Speakerphone on all handsets is really a great improvement over the old unit. (Previous unit did not have this.)6. The intercom is also a nice touch.7. The base station supports Blue Tooth headsets. (That’s my next purchase.)8. Apparently, it can also connect your cell phones, although that is a feature we’ve got zero use for today. I’m sure this will float someone’s boat, though.I’m a guy who researches stuff like this before purchasing and usually do very well. The reviews for this product were unnaturally weighted towards 1 star and that caused me to pause. However, after reading all reviews of similar phones in this category, I felt this was a worthwhile gamble.I would say that this phone is perfect for a small business or a home that needs 2 lines. I would highly recommend this phone.

We love these two line phones. I’m sure there are cheaper ones out there, but with the range extender available from Panasonic, I was able to install one of these phones in my office building outside of our home without running a phone line. I have full access to both lines out there, and there is a nifty intercall feature the we like as well. The cell phone syncing works well also.

OK. I had my unit replaced and the new one works like a charm. The problem I had seems to be incompetent technicians at Ooma, Panasonic, and here on Amazon; not a problem with the unit. I am sure that my new unit came with a better manual. I was able to solve all the problems I had with the earlier unit that the specialists were unable to help me with. I love how I can now block 200 Robo-callers.To solve a problem with an error message on the screen of my new phone, I was bounced between a Panasonic technician and a Technician at Ooma. The problem couldn’t be solved but I was told by the Panasonic technician it was just a nuisance and shouldn’t affect the phone’s performance. The manual that comes with the phone is all but useless. I think it was translated from Chinese into Serb-Croatian before finally being translated into English. I still can’t change my ring tone. If you are a technophobe like me, avoid this phone. If you’re a programming expert, this phone will probably have you writhing in ecstasy.

I bought these phones to replace my old Office Depot “Ativa” branded phones that I had for about 10 years that had failing batteries after having been replaced only two or three years ago. Although these phones are a little more complicated, I like the link-to-cell feature among others. So far they are serving me well. I have had a long 3.5 hour conference call from one handset via my cellphone link and other parties told me it sounded very clear. When my 3.5 hour conference call was done, the battery indicator still showed “FULL”. My old phones wouldn’t have lasted 15 minutes before the battery would have died.

The Panasonic two-line cordless phones work well, and feature very clear sound. The wireless range is good, but we also bought the signal booster to boost reception in the garage shop. The selection of ringtones is limited, and I’m not really happy with any of the choices, but we selected the least annoying ring and set the volume low enough to keep it from being a problem. We were able to set line two to no ring tone since we share that line with a fax machine (even in the 21st century). The settings let us assign names to each handset, so we can page people or transfer the call without yelling across the office.

Works great. Has excellent range and makes having two lines a breeze to use. Also has a built hold feature with music. I wish you could change the hold music thought. The only major flaw which is just a personal opinion is the selection of ring tones. There are plenty of choices for tones but none of them are really great.

We replaced a V-Tech multiple line phone system with this Panasonic. It came with a total of four handsets, including the base. This was the perfect solution for us. This phone is solid, the sound is excellent. There are many useful features, and I was able to connect and use a headset from the beginning. (Something nobody, including our computer guru could figure out on the V-Tech.) I wish I had purchased this system a few years ago. I love it.

I live in a large house. I had the Panasonic phone that did not have DECT. The sound quality was terrible. These phones work perfectly and I did not need an extender. The feature I miss the most is the message flashing led. On my old phone the handsets would flash an LED to inform you that you have a new voice message. This phone only allows you to set up a “Beep” at the base unit. Besides that I like this phone
