This was an excellent addition to my hot tub for an outdoor stereo speaker addition. I placed it inside of a water tight enclosure, with an additional heat sink (just in case). It works great and provides all of the volume that I need to listen to music while enjoying a soak in the hot tub.

I used these on my Polaris RZR 570 Trail. Does a great job sending enough power to two 6.5″speakers. Now I can hear all my music at speed and through my Helmet. Well worth the price and a nice bonus is that you can adjust the sound with the amp. I no longer have to adjust on the Ipod. If you want louder turn your source volume all the way up then adjust gain on the amp.

I liked it ..if it would have worked I have one already and it works great just not enough power only a 100 watts I needed more powerful one so I thought 400 watts could’ve make it louder I know it would have worked great 👍 I will try again thank you so much

My boat is a 1994 Seaswirl… so my expectations were low to begin with. I got tired of using my portable bluetooth speaker, so I was looking for an upgrade (my goal wasn’t to watch the Matrix in digital dolby surround sound on the water – but if that’s your thing, more power to you!) Overall, great little amp, I like how small it is, ’bout the size of a deck of cards. It only powers two speakers – but for me, that was fine. Besides, a bigger amp +4 speakers = greater power draw on your battery, and being able to start my boat is the most important thing. *Note: when I first hooked up everything, no sound was coming through the speakers. Peel off the cover and adjust the gain, and there are two wires for the positive (to hook up a switch) so I connected those and voila, it worked fine. It’s a 12v system, you ain’t going to hurt anything. Just start connecting wires until you hear sound. See you on the water!! No you wont hear me, because this system isn’t strong enough… but I will hear my music just fine 🙂

Added this to an anemic Fusion RA55 stereo on a Harley batwing fairing and couldn’t be happier. Loud AF. I would question the power of this thing, however it added enough to my 25 watt head unit that it’s really too loud going up the highway. If I had to guess, I’d say it doubled the volume. Now I can go to just 3/4 volume. Crystal clear with this combo all the way up. Small enough that it fits nice in a batwing fairing.

I put this on my motorcycle. I needed a small footprint but needed more power. For the price and the size I was surprised of the sound boost. I had just a Bluetooth stereo and 2-5 1/2in speakers. The speakers will handle 3oo watts but the stereo only pushed like 40ish watts, and while riding in town I could hear it but the quality was lacking. And on the highway or interstate it was pointless to even turn it on, I relied on Bluetooth ear pods and my cell phone.Any way, i set up the stereo, speakers and the lil Hydra Amp on my work bench to test and see how hot it got.It was a world of difference as far as sound and power, specs say 100 watts for each speaker,With volume up and the gain pretty high it got very warm. The volume control is ok but after turning it a lil over half way up there is no more increase in volume. The instructions say that with the volume knob all the way down it will basically turn the amp off to prevent draining the battery. But since I didn’t want another step for tunes i simply used the Blue wire from the Amp to the Blue wire from my stereo and when I turn the stereo off then the Amp also shuts down. I tested and verified this with my multimeter.Decent water resistant caps cover most all the connections.Over all this Amp will not blast like others, but then again it is cheaper and smaller, perfect for my needs. And for like $6 I got extended warranty for 3yrs, to go with the 1yr from Pyle, and after giving a review I will get additional warranty for Pyle.So win win & win, IMHO!I recommend this for motorcycles or ATV’s etc… I won’t break the bank and It does a good job, now I can jam wherever I ride!

The volume controller is iffy. But overall it works really fine for running two waketower marine 4″ speakers in my crawler and it is SUPER compact

This amp is a good amp for a motorcycle. Has a very small footprint and fits in a fairing nicely. Also that it is water resistant is a plus.

Installed this and some Pyle 5.25” marine speakers in my saddlebags. The installation was simple. literally just Power, Ground and a wire for a switch or to a radio. If you install it without a radio and just a on off switch all you have to do is wire a 2 prong switch to the power and the blue wire on the amp. The speakers have bullet connectors so it’s even easier to wire. Overall im super impressed with the sound quality and ease to install.
