Work as expected and easy to install the ssd and ram. For future user: the VESA mounting kit you may want to pull out the knot/grip with some force in order to hang your Zotac PC properly.

These Zotac boxes work great and are firmware updatable as well as run cool. Most others don’t do everything these units do, and they have a nice look and sturdy feel to them as well. I’ve purchased a number of these devices for Windows 10 & PFSense installations and they never let me down.

I do everything. Only problem is lack of Linux compatibility with sound card. Obviously, not meant for heavy duty graphical applications, but great for work.

This is the 2nd Zotac that I have owned. It is fast, and meets and exceeds all my expectations. When I’m ready to replace the other 2 PCs, I will be getting another Zotac.

Great little box. I’m using it as a firewall appliance with pfsense and couldn’t be happier with it It’s up 24/7 and I’ve had 0 issues. Only thing I haven’t tried to use is the wifi, as I use the 2 ethernet connections. Once it’s relocated, I’ll be mounting it on the back of a monitor with it’s supplied vesa mount. I’ve tested the mounting before, and it works just fine.

Good: Powerful little machine. Using this for video transcoding (plex), almost silent.Bad: impossible to access the m.2 slot on the motherboard to install a drive without removing the heatsink and breaking the warranty seal sticker. Also the i7 processor runs a bit hot (40+ degrees at idle).

This is for the MI-527, these reviews are grouped together with similar products. This is a great little Linux box, everything just works out of the gate. Running Ubuntu 17.10. I bought this as a little game machine for my son and something he can learn computing on. It’s very fast for the size.I also have a Zotac CI-327, the MI are basically the same form factor as CI, but the shell is slightly different and they’re fan cooled. Still pretty silent, I don’t notice it running. If you have a monitor with a rear VESA mount that isn’t blocked by its stand this will attach to it to make kind of an all-in-one.

Used 2 of these, a bit overkill for the usage, but they no longer make the N-series. Easy to use, work for Pfsense and Ubuntu for the UBT controller. The biggest thing is that it has 2x1G network interface, perfect for Pfsense setup. Highly recommend is you looking for a fan-less solution

This is so far the cheapest fully modular platform for hackintoshing with Thunderbolt 3 built-in. The product screenshots don’t do it justice in terms of expansion.Compared to a NUC, this actually allows you to even remove and replace the included Wifi card!Would highly suggest for any OS X projects at the discounted price (if it gets back in stock 🙂

This is a fantastic computer. With it you can make your own all-in-one PC with a nice big monitor. Or just leave it on your desk right up front for easy access to the various ports.I have had it for about two months now and have had absolutely no problems. I am a little concerned about heat during the summer without air conditioning, but at 70 degF room temperature, the CPU temp is about 52C. Interestingly, most of the heat comes out the left side, not the top as one would expect. You’ll need to make sure that side is free of obstructions. What’s to like:1) Ultra-low power, less than 50W, and runs off a small 19v laptop power supply.2) Lot’s of USB 3/C ports. Not a lot of USB C stuff these days, but it is future-ready.3) Installation of memory and hard drive were simple. I put 16Gb ram and 245 SSD drive in.4) Displays – it can drive two 4k monitors, and with display port, it can drive up to four 1080p monitors in addition to one 4k.5) Can make a portable computer. Hang it off the back of a monitor that takes 19v DC laptop adapter. Then buy a higher power laptop adapter with a barrel jack splitter and power both computer and monitor from one power adapter. Add cordless mouse/trackball/keyboard dongle, and you have only one cord to mess with when you move your computer. Why mess with tiny laptop screens when you can have this?Cons – none that I know of.
